Mother Teresa Catholic Secondary School of the London District Catholic School Board was completed in the summer of 2002. The project consisted of a complete full service secondary school of approx. 165,000 sq. ft. in area. The school is a two-storey fully sprinklered structure.
HVAC for the school consists of a four pipe fan-coil system served by centrifugal chiller with indoor cooling tower for year round operation & boiler plant. The boiler plant included two Viessmann RMT 380 boilers providing 1544 mbh each.
Ventilation is provided by outdoor roof-mounted 100% fresh air units with gas fired heating, chilled water cooling with heat-pipe heat reclaim. The gymnasiums are served by separate gas fired heating DX cooling air-handling units with integral gas fired humidifiers to provide consistent humidity levels for the hardwood floors.
