Responsibilities:
Our London and Ottawa teams are seeking an experienced Construction/Contract Administrator to support the delivery of high-quality mechanical and electrical infrastructure projects across the region. In this role, you will work closely with clients, contractors, and internal project teams, contributing across procurement, contract administration, and construction phases.
As a key member of the Construction Management team, you will provide professional construction and contract management services and support the successful delivery of projects from start to finish.

In this role, you will work closely with clients, contractors, and internal project teams, contributing across procurement, contract administration, and construction phases.
As a key member of the Construction Management team, you will provide professional construction and contract management services and support the successful delivery of projects from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as Engineer’s Representative and Contract Administrator during construction phases
- Prepare procurement and contract documentation, and evaluate tenders
- Support investigations, inspections, engineering analysis, and technical reporting
- Manage project controls, including schedule, cost, risk, variations, and cash flow
- Assist Project Managers in delivering projects on time, within budget, and to quality expectations
- Maintain strong working relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in construction and contract management, with a strong understanding of Ontario Mechanical and Electrical infrastructure delivery
- Approximately 5+ years of experience in construction and contract management roles
- Experience acting as Engineer’s and/or Contractor’s Representative
- Confidence managing schedules, risks, variations, reporting, and overall project controls
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and stakeholders
- A collaborative, solutions-focused approach with a strong client orientation
Additional Skills & Experience
- Experience with progress payments, change orders, leading site meetings, preparing minutes, and providing guidance to field staff regarding contracts
- Strong knowledge of construction best practices, including equipment, materials, and quality assurance techniques
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- High level of initiative and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
