Meaford Public Library Renovation

V&R provided mechanical and electrical engineering services for the renovation of the existing Foodland Building in Meaford, Ontario into the new public library. The project included the design of a new building interior and retrofits to the building envelope. The renovation estimate also included two phases for site development.

Mechanical Engineering services included: 

• Commercial quality plumbing fixtures with electrical faucet
• Gas fired domestic hot water tank  and recirculation pump
• Domestic piping distributions up to and including plumbing fixtures
• Sanitary & Vent, storm drainage
• Full sprinkler coverage throughout the building and fire extinguishers   where required
• Refurbish existing make-up air unit and roof top unit
• Heat recovery unit for ventilation
• Air distribution c/w devices, dampers, etc.
• Testing and balancing
• Equipment and devices controls and tie-into existing BAS systems
• Demolition of existing equipment, distribution, fixtures, etc.
