This project consisted of an addition of approximately 20,000 SF for the Faculty of Education. It was spread over four floors at the south end of Robert
S.K. Welch Hall originally constructed in 1970. There are two Faculty Meeting Rooms, a TA Office, Graduate Student Computer Lab and associated facilities and 62 Faculty Offices arranged around an interconnected atrium with natural clerestorey lighting. A student lounge area is located at the lowest level and study spaces are found beneath the atrium, at three balconies projecting into the atrium, and in the small windowed spaces distributed around the building.
