Ursuline College Chatham Secondary School: Phase 1 & Phase 2
V&R completed an HVAC Audit for Ursuline College Chatham Catholic Secondary School. V&R worked with the school to prepare a phased work plan that took into account their budget and required timelines to fit the of times of school. The audit included the assessment of all of the existing equipment including the condition, expected replacement date, estimated replacement cost and energy savings.
The School has a total square footage of 188,730sq.ft. and is comprised of many buildings and additions. The original building was built in 1957 and has since undergone 6 additions.
The heating systems vary throughout the additions to the school and the buildings are also controlled by two BAS systems. Part of the work will consist of adding AC to one section and creating one BAS system for the entire facility.
In 2019, V&R was retained by the St. Clair Catholic School Board for a library Unit Ventilator Replacement project. The scope of work included preparing and completing drawings and specifications for tender purposes on the replacement of the 3 unit ventilators within the library. V&R also provided contract administration services for the construction period of the unit replacement.
