OCDSB Heritage School Daycare
Between July 2021 and March 2022, the OCDSB’s Heritage Public School Daycare underwent renovations to their pre-existing space of 1,429 sq.ft. The project was completed on-time and worth roughly $393,000, costing $275 per sq.ft. Working with GRC Architects, V&R provided mechanical and electrical engineering services to enlarge and update washrooms while creating more
storage in the preschool area. Our proposed fee for the project was $8,400.
Renovation Details:
The project consisted of enlarging the toddler washroom and replacing the existing fixtures, converting an existing washroom on the preschool side into a storage room, and creating a larger washroom in that space. The kitchen was enlarged to add a stove, hood, and fre suppression system. In addition, they enclosed the classrooms/playrooms that were originally one big open space.
