Position Title:               Mechanical Designer
Position Hours:            Full Time- 37.5 hours/week
Position Location:        London/Ottawa

​Working within multi-discipline project teams, the ideal candidate will be an energetic team-player with experience designing mechanical systems for buildings. The ideal candidate will have specific experience designing mechanical systems for institutional, healthcare, municipal, commercial, and industrial facilities. 

Your responsibilities  will include all aspects of design and analyses, including system selection, life cycle cost calculation, and implementation of systems.
 


Qualifications:

• Possess experience in mechanical design for a Variety of Building Facilities
• Familiar with Relevant Codes and Standards
• Proficient with utilizing AutoCAD/REVIT
• Strong Communication and Interpersonal skills
• Ability to Work Effectively in a Team Environment

Responsibilities

• Design and prepare mechanical reports, contract documents, drawings and specifications for all aspects of mechanical systems for institutional, healthcare, municipal, commercial and industrial facilities
• Design and calculation aspects of specialty mechanical system
• Conduct site reviews and attend project meetings with clients as required
• Coordinate mechanical design with electrical drawings and services

The company also requires the successful candidate to possess a valid driver's license.

Compensation:
Commensurate with experience.
